Health Care Management
The Health Care Management program promotes an understanding of complex, evolving, and integrated health care and reimbursement systems. In this program, students can analyze perspectives, methods and values associated with the delivery and financing of health services, and can learn the skills necessary to discover new ways to meet the growing demand for efficient and affordable health care.
The program offers a Clinical Track for those who currently have a registry or license, and a Non-Clinical Track for those interested in health care but who do not hold a clinical license or registry. If you have at least 30 credits in professional clinical training, you can follow the Clinical Track, applying your health care credentials toward degree requirements to complete your degree in less time. Apply as many as 80 credit hours depending on your unique transfer credit evaluation and your major. Many students apply 70-80 credit hours toward graduation requirements. Degree requirements include academic major requirements, liberal arts and general education (breadth area) requirements, upper division credits, and 30 hours of course work at Ottawa University. Ottawa University's graduation requirement is 124 credit hours.
