Facebook Places Check-in Party
Join our new-school year celebration! If you are at one of our campuses today, we want you to “check in” to
Ottawa University on Facebook using the new places app. Or, using Foursquare, or Gowalla. Once you check-in, leave a comment on our Facebook page. Your name will be put into a drawing to receive a free t-shirt.
Here is how to do it if you have yet to use Places on Facebook:
- Check in on your phone - that is the only way to do it. Go to touch.facebook.com or if you have an iPhone, Blackberry, Droid, etc make sure your Facebook app is up to date.
- Hit “Places”
- Allow Facebook to use your current location if that option pops up.
- Hit “check in”
- Look for Ottawa University in the list that pops up and select it.
- Once you have selected your location, hit “check in” again.
