Guest earned letters in football (1965-68) and basketball (1965-69) for the Braves.
He helped lead the OU football team to 31-5 and to two KCAC Championships in 1965 and 1966. The 1965 team finished with a final ranking of fifth in the NAIA Football Poll. Guest earned the Thomas E. Trigg Memorial Award for his sportsmanship on and off of the field in 1969. He was a First Team All-KCAC selection at running back in 1968.
As a member of the OU men’s basketball team, Guest helped the Braves to a four year record of 30-38 and to the 1966-67 KCAC Championship.
