A three-year letterman on the Braves baseball team, Mike was the KCAC Player of the Year in 1997. He was named Honorable Mention NAIA All-American and was a First Team All-Region in 1997. He was also First Team All-Conference in 1995, 1996 and 1997. Mike is sixth overall in the OU record books in single season assists with 80 in 1996. Against Kansas Wesleyan in 1995, he hit the program’s first ever grand slam. The team won the KCAC Championship in 1995 and 1997, giving Mike the opportunity to participate in the Great Plains region.

Current/Past Business, Profession or Occupation:
Mike is in his 17th season as the head baseball coach at William Jewell College. He has been named conference and region Coach of the Year five times. Before arriving at WJC, Mike was the assistant coach at Dallas Baptist University. He also spent two years as an assistant coach at the University of Kansas.

Current/Past Community Involvement:
Mike is involved in the Liberty, Mo., area with YMCA Challenger projects and various activities in local grade schools.
