Ringhausen was a four year letterman on the basketball court for the Lady Braves. She helped lead OU to a four year record of 66-49 and to the program’s first NAIA Division II ranking. Ringhausen also helped the Lady Braves to a then school record 23 wins during the 1992-93 season. Ringhausen was a two-time Honorable Mention All-KCAC selection, twice earned Daktronic Scholar Athlete honors, and was named to the All-KCAC Academic team four times.

Ringhausen put her name in the OU record book in her four seasons as a Lady Brave. She is ranked in career scoring (1,076), career rebounds (611), career assists (119), career field goals attempted (1,055), career field goals made (465),  career free throws attempted (227), career free throws made (146), career blocked shots (20), single-season scoring (390), single-season field goals attempted (355, 354), in single-season field goals made (171, 151) and single-game rebounds (16). Ringhausen graduated Magna Cum Laude from OU and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honorary Society.

Ringhausen served as the head women’s basketball coach at NCAA Division II McKendree University (IL.). She has been named the American Midwest Conference Coach of the Year twice, and the team has won six American Midwest Conference championships. She also served as the assistant director of athletics and senior women’s administrator.
