Kenneth Clifton

Clifton earned four letters in football (1950-52, 1954) and three in track and field (1951-53).

On the gridiron, Clifton helped the Braves to a four year record of 27-8-1 and to the 1950 KCAC Championship with a 7-2 record under head coach Dick Peters. He earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors at fullback during the 1954 season. He served in the military which interrupted his senior year of college, but after being discharged, he played his fourth year of eligibility in 1954.

As a member of the OU track and field team, Clifton helped the Braves to three straight KCAC Team Championships (1951, 1952, 1953). He earned All-KCAC honors in the 880 Yard run in 1953.

After graduating from Ottawa University in 1955, he taught and coached for 35 years.
