Teacher Certification/Licensure

If you hold a baccalaureate or advanced degree from an accredited university and would like to become certified or licensed to teach in Arizona or Kansas schools, Ottawa University offers a teacher certification program for you. The Teacher Certification/Licensure Program provides the necessary training, coursework and expertise needed to acquire a teaching certificate/license in elementary education or secondary education. The program of study prepares the candidate for successful completion of the state prescribed pre-certification performance tests and a successful career as a certified teacher.

The Teacher Professional Education Program (PEP) at Ottawa University is designed for certified elementary and secondary educators interested in career growth. All courses are offered for upper division/graduate level credit. These credits may be used for professional development, certificate renewal, and salary increments.
