Homecoming 2009 Memories

On Saturday, October 3, prior to the homecoming football game between the Braves and Southwestern College, the coronation ceremony was held. Seniors Meagan Wilcox and Jason Beers were crowned as homecoming queen and king, respectively. At halftime, the parents of Steve Hasty of Hasty Awards, which sponsored the post-game fireworks, were honored, as was the 1972 Mineral Water Bowl Championship team. The 11th ranked Ottawa University Braves went on to defeat the Moundbuilders, 54-16, to go to 5-0 on the season. Here are a few photos from the memorable evening.
