Teaching as an Adjunct Instructor

If you are interested in teaching in a university setting, it can be helpful to gain experience as an adjunct instructor. Many of our adjunct instructors hold a full-time career elsewhere, and choose to teach in our evening and weekend programs so that they may have the opportunity to teach students.

The University has an academic coordinator/academic dean at each campus location. This individual is dedicated to hiring for adjunct teaching responsibilities. Adjunct Instructors are hired to teach on a per course basis. Each academic term may present the need to hire new or additional adjunct instructors. Academic terms begin at varying times depending on the program and campus location. If you are interested to teach in this capacity, please contact the Campus location. The academic coordinator/academic dean will be happy to accept your credentials and tell you more about what opportunities may be available for the approaching term/semester.
